This season, you can not miss out on this trend ! Ruffles are everywhere, as I was telling you in my article about the Spring / Summer 2017 trends !

Ruffles: understanding this trend

Whether you are eccentric or a little discreet, ruffles will fit you. Asymmetrical, on the vertical, on dresses, shirts, and ven trousers, there are ruffles for everyone!

Nevertheless there are some rules to follow to be chic, trendy, and feminine.

Rule # 1: Be aware of your morphology.
It is necessary to pay attention to your morphology when choosing to wear ruffles. Indeed, depending on where they are placed, they can increase your build, thicken the hips and so, not show you at your best !

Rule # 2: Balance perfectly the trend.
Do not put ruffles everywhere. Choose a trendy piece with ruffles and for the rest of the outfit, stay simple!

Small touches

If you like this trend, but do not know how to wear it, play the sobriety card. Make your silhouette look taller by choosing fluid and vertical ruffles. We recommend a total black look with our black Greta dress and a bright lipstick for the feminine touch to embody the Parisian chic !

For the most audacious

Choose to wear ruffles around the shoulders ! They adapt to all the morphologies, and draw a pretty silhouette. The volume on the shoulders, highlights your arms and gives you immediately presence! If you want show off a little bit, our Elo Poppy dress will be the perfect combination to be the most beautiful at the party of the year!

For the original

Choose ruffles by small touches but in original places! If you want to adopt the trend of the ruffles without looking like “everyone”, go for our top Blandine with a structured jacquard ruffle on the back that will make you shine with its golden threads at the next diner with your girlfriends!

No more waiting, adopt the trend now !

Have a good week !
