Today, I want to tell you all about the hair trends that are going to be huge in 2017. For all the girls getting married, or the girls going to a wedding this summer, if you still don’t know how to style your hair, these are a few ideas inspired by the celebrities, models and famous hairdressers.

Super sleek

Center parted hair is one of the biggest trends for 2017. It is a minimalistic trend, very sophisticated and has been seen and approved by the red carpet celebrities. For those who don’t know what to do with their hair a few days away from the big day, choose this option. You can tight your hair in a very low ponytail like Beyonce or leave them free like Sofia Vergara.

But remember, this style only works if your hair look healthy and shiny !

The high pony tail

No, the ponytail is not only for the girls that were too lazy to make something with their hair this morning.

The high pony tail adds both elegance and ease to every outfit. For a bride, this hair style will give her a fresh and energitic look.

Add an accessory to make it look more sophisticated or wrap your hair around the top so it looks like there is nothing holding it together like Elle Fanning.

The bun

It is a classic when getting married. But there are lots of different ways to style your bun to look different and original. Forget the classic tightly pulled back bun your grandma wore on her wedding day.

You can be sure that this look will never go out of style. The new way to do a bridal chignon is one part ballerina, one part cool girl, and totally chic.

Leave a few bits of hair down in the front to make some curls, make a loose bun in the bottom of the head, it is my personal favorite. You can also add an accessory like Emaa Stone did it on the Met Gala red carpet. We have a small designer that is creating specially for Maison Lemoine accessories with flowers. Discover them soon on our website !

The side braid

No you will not be considered as a “boho bride” if you wear a braid the day of your wedding.

The braid has become really popular and can be made into so many different hair styles. The braids makes any girls look effortlessly elegant. If you have thin hair, curl it first to give volume and to have a few free beautiful locks. Eva Longoria and Cara Delevingne got it right !

Half up, half down

Romantic, modern, and impossibly chic, it’s one of those hairstyles that simply doesn’t go out of style. Half-up, half-down hairstyles are that great compromise of wanting your hair lush and flowy around your face and shoulders, yet still having key pieces out of the way so you’re not fussing with it throughout the day.” Plus, it’s perfect for fall, when the humidity in the air is low so you don’t risk your style falling flat, and great in warmer weather, since it’s less heavy than having all of your hair down. This is Kate Middleton’s favorite hair style, she wears it almost everyday and of course the day of her wedding ! If you want to add a touch of originality, do it like Poppy Delevingne, add a braid on the two sides to tight it up.

I hope this article gave you some ideas for the big Day !
